While you patiently wait for your friends at Tails of Hawaii to arrive, here's some information on our staff and other services. Each Pet Pal is screened then trained in reading and interpreting "dog language". Though there are always risks involved in pet play, our staff to dog ratio is kept low to avoid unnecessary injuries. All Pet Pals have the best interest of your pet at hand, we don't just watch the animals. Socialization and stimulating 
interactions are a must. When your day ends at work your pet will be clean and ready to enjoy a calm evening with the family. No more dirty paws and pent up energy pressuring you to do more work! Other services offered are baths and grooming, one on one training and coming soon group training classes. Our Tail Shuttle provides safe transportation to and from your home or other destination. Pet excursions to the park and beach are in the planning stages.
Tails of Hawaii is an innovative facility that provides something for every dog. Energetic dogs who would otherwise be left alone and "putting their nose where it doesn't belong" are taken for long walks and allowed to play on the "Bow-wow Wowie" play ground. The "Bow-wow Wowie" is over 1400 square feet of fun, fun, fun! Your pal can fulfill his chase master instinct with our "go fetch" zip line. For those who 
like to get their paws wet we have an indoor water feature. The multi-level climber is perfect for those who seek adventure in
climbing and crawling through tunnels. Smaller and shy dogs may be overwhelmed with all the excitement and may find the "Canine Cabanas" a retreat to enjoy a good bone gnaw. Of course the younger fellows need a bit more attention which they can find in our "Keiki Corner".
Now for the business end of things! All pets must meet certain requirements in order to join in on group play. Every dog must be current on vaccinations (distemper, hepatitis, parvo virus and bortadella), neutered or spayed if over 6 months of age and be on flea and tick prevention. Any candidate for cage less daycare or boarding must be
evaluated prior to their stay. Group interaction is not for every pet, older and shy dogs may be overwhelmed when encountering new situations. Also aggressive dogs will not be allowed in the pack. For those interested in periodical stays may opt to have their pet stay in kennel type accommodations, but must still meet vaccination and flea and tick prevention requirements.
Please don't think we forgot our feline friends! We will be implementing "Kitty Cove" where cats can romp and play. Kitty Cove features a multilevel cat walk complete with scratching posts and floating fish feathers. Keep your eyes open for the coming attraction.
